The Last SaaS
An open source headless SaaS for agents and assistants

About The Last SaaS
An experiment in finding the primitives all SaaS apps need, letting the AI assistant and agent build upon them via MCP, CLI, and/or API.
In the maker’s words
This kind of started as a joke, and it still kind of is. But it's also kind of fun to think about what the minimum number of primitives would cover all possible typical SaaS applications. And then drive that from an agent/assistant. There is obvious stuff like CRUD, and then permissions, users, notifications etc. So basically I made a start of a "headless SaaS" that has no UI and is just a CLI/API/MCP that you can connect your Claude etc to and it can make the UIs and displays in real time when you need it. This isn't like a startup. I'm more curious about your opinions about how much of SaaS can just be replaced. It can be backed by SQLite(or Postgres), so it's super quick to self-host, but you can also use the hosted version for free to test it out.
